. . . I really enjoyed my training. I told someone the other day that even with the years I was in the Army, your description of "squeezing" off a round was the best and most effective I've ever had and is making a difference, though still a work in progress. Reminds me of trying to learn how to fly an Apache using night vision system. Every instructor I flew with had a little different approach. It was a challenge, but finally had a substitute instructor pilot one night that had just the right description and teaching technique...and it stuck. I flew night vision system the same way from that day on.

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation to you for your time, patience, and knowledge during your instruction of the course. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that everyone got a lot out of the course and that all of us enjoyed the time spent.
I’ve been to “Blue Ridge” a couple of times since our “practical proficiency” part of the course and I’ve begun the Winchester/NRA Pistol Qualification rating curriculum as described in the catalogue that was included in our training materials. I’ve found it to be a tremendous training agenda and it’s quite fun. I’ve already completed the Pro-Marksman rating and I am about half-way through the Marksman rating qualification.
Again, thank you for your instruction. I’ve got my CCW application completed and will take it to the court house when I receive my course certificate. I look forward to running into you at Blue Ridge and I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

I learned a lot from the course and your 1-on-1 instruction at the range.
Great instruction and hands-on lessons in safety, loading/unloading, cocking/decocking, sight picture, stance, and trigger control.

Thank you for a really awesome class. I was able to rehab my great-grandfather’s 1911 and successfully fire it after a bit of cleaning. I am very comfortable with pistols now and have even started looking into the other forgotten family collection.
